So my steering shaft is on its way out. Just rebuilt the front end this morning. Because the ball joints were bad and the tie rods has some play in them. Once I replaced everything I hopped in the truck to turn the steering wheel back and forth a couple of times, and it was a much-needed improvement. But there was about a 1inch of play from side to side before it would start to turn the wheel. So had my wife jump in and turn the wheel for me and i noticed the outer steering shaft was rotating around the inner shaft. So I looked up a replacement and came across Borgeson 000985 steering shaft as kind of my only option. It is on the pricey side. Are there any other options for us out there besides this????

I am looking at this for my 1991 F350

Finally got around to installing the 000985 steering shaft. What a difference it made. Removed all of the slop from the steering wheel.
