Apparently when you wait about 100k miles too long to change them and one falls out they mutilate the bracket too....

I got it bent pretty close with the vise and a 3# sledge. It's GOTTA be better than it was!

Also put new lock knobs (the things that stick up from the door by the window) so I can actually grab onto them and unlock them if I need to.

I just pull the inside handle. Lol
But with a crewcab, I could see that being a issue.

Yeah it's got power locks but the actuators are all seized up. I already removed the front two. Driver's side back won't lock and my knee keeps hitting the darn lock button and once in a while the passenger rear will actually work and lock on me.

I might actually fix the power locks if I can find a way to move/bypass the switch right next to my knee!

The only firestarter was the 2G with spade connectors for the output.

Very productive weekend. Here's a quick list of what got done.

Repaired a burnt section of power window and door lock harness on drivers side where it enters the door chase.

Installed to new front door speakers

Glued the rubber pad to the w brake pedal.

Put seat covers on the front seats

Put the aluminum diamond plate protector back on the tailgate.

Vacuumed the interior

Topped off the oil

Cleaned out the bed

Cleaned out and reorganized the toolbox.

Was a very productive weekend. I also managed to watch my daughter play two lacrosse games of which she won both, got the quads out for the kids on both Saturday and Sunday and we tented in the back yard Saturday night

Hauled an old 351W block to a guy who wants it to rebuild it, gets it out of my hair since I won't need it.

Got home and noticed I had a bad tire (broken belt, nice bulge in the tread).

Picked up a warranty exchange starter for her and got the tire switched out and the starter too.

Ordered a couple locks, a brake hose, and a reseal kit for my power steering pump that leaks like crazy.

Used it to haul a trash water pump home to empty the flooded basement... Ugh.

Finally got my factory shifter handle in the mail from another member here, got it wire wheeled and repainted. Hopefully I can install it later today if it dries quick enough!

Also touched up the tailgate on my other truck... Then promptly forgot and sat on the bumper and.... Leaned on the tailgate....
