Other than the lines going to the heater core is there a place where I can pipe in some fitting directly from the engine?

Does the engine have other pipe plug ports for coolant on it? If so where?

1. engine over temp sender--drivers side front down low
2. engine temp sender--drivers side front up high
3. high idle advance--pass side front next to upper radiator hose
4. water pump--top dead center
5. glow plug controller location

Keep in mind that the heads are both the same, so the locations that have sending units on the drivers side front are probably plugged on the pass. side rear.

Presumably though, these are all in use though?

That one might be tricky to access. I read your other post and I assume that this is for that?

Artic Fox has been around for a long time, they work. Been almost 20 years since I ran one and something I should put in my aux tank to prevent icing problems I had last year with the feed line to my main tank.

When you install it make sure you install valves to cut the hot water in warm weather unless you are using it to heat WMO or WVO or are running one with the bypass thermostat.

Prolly go with this one myself. F-406-19 looks to be the part number I need.

Another good spot is the drivers side head, back between #'s 6 and 8 just above the exhaust manifold. I just used that one myself. It mirrors the location for the heater hose on the passenger side.
