After climbing all over the Dana 70HD I am unable to find a vent. The wheel seals had poured oil as you can see in the pic when I tore the brakes apart. A clogged vent i guess could cause something like this. I looked and looked and looked and even had a friend look (not that I overlook things lol). No vent!! 1986 F350 6.9 cab and chassis. Thanks everyone!!!!!!

Look at the brake line tee, I believe the vent is built into that tee. If the hose is missing it’s hard to find and I’ll bet you two drinks it’s clogged and causing your wheel end issues.

Thanks for the pic. Mine had the tee floating above the axle w no provision to mount to axle. The tee was fed by a worn out, crusty proportioning valve that sensed ride height (the truck sat for 9 years in the weeds). I'm going to look CLOSELY at my axle tube for the remnants of a hole. Nobody would want the flex hose pulling that tee up and down constantly as you bounce down the road.

On my 85 RV I had, it's what holds down the metal block for the rear brake hose, over on the driver side.

The shop that did the brake system job left the block hanging loose because it was too thick for the original vent. I'm trying to find the part # but I think it was something from a 1990 F350 Sterling that fit it, bought from O'Reilly.

Pic when I found that issue, before fixing it:
