don't really care for those tail lights,
if I was gonna drive it, id be slappin some SD tail lights in.
don't see many ute's here

I'm assuming that the vw is front wheel drive. If it is it just seems weird to have a fwd truck. Aside from that it looks cool as hell.

I had a VW diesel truck for a service vehicle back in 1983, I loved that little thing, I wish I could find one that wasn't completely trashed.

Looks like you are off to a nice start, I am looking forward to more.

Thanks, Yea the Tailights are Ford Explorer Sport Track, it is what the fiberglass quarters are set up for, If you want to change them, you have to rebuild the rear quarters, I am OK with the tailights lol!

Yea they were cool, I had an 81 a few years ago that with a 1.9AAZ Turbo Diesel in it that was a cool ride, That was sold to Corpus Cristie TX. Will post more pics soon.

Very cool little kit. Out of curiosity do they have a recommended weight limit for the bed? Maybe 3 to 400?

Id have to Check my gas cap cover again but I'm pretty sure it said my 00 2 door golf is rated for 1300lbs... And I've got the rear springs worn :)

Holy crap that's over half a ton! That would be a higher rating than some full sized trucks....

Of coarse what it is rated for and what you can get away with are two different things.
