Via a public thread for nominations.
Narrow it down to 3, then do a poll as a vote?

Great idea!
i try to keep the "best of the best" competitions down due to someone is going to get offended.
I'd like to keep it easygoing and a placel where dieselheads of all makes want to hang out here.
I do get overwhelming feedback that our relaxed attitude keeps people coming back.

I joined up in 2010 but I spend most of my diesel time over at the sister site, SDD. Recently I came back to see what is going on here. Diesel sites are mostly dead. This one has more member posts than any other. Some I don't see how they survive.
