Looking to buy '03 or '07

Hey guys, I am (dont hate me) a Ford guy and post lots on the Ford IDI section. I have recently had alot of trouble with my rigs and I have been doin a lil shoppin for somethin nice for a change. I am going to look at 2 trucks tomorrow, both are Dodge 3500 4x4 CC DRW's. One is an '03 Laramie auto with 40K origional miles and they are askin 24900, and the other is an '07 SLT 6 speed with about 86000 miles and askin 25900. Both appear to be in great shape in the pics. Would the '07 still have the 5.9?? What might be the better deal from what I have described so far?

If it's an early '07 it would still have the 5.9L. Later models had the 6.7. The seller should know. Other than the transmissions they are the same except for cosmetics.

I would get the 6 speed.
Coming from a zf-5, I don't like the gear spacing, but I like that you can float the gears.
