I just replaced the Heater Core in my '86 F250 with factory A/C. Following Tim's instructions ( mine had 6 screws instead of the 2 he mentioned), I had the core out and the new one back in, and all my tools put away in 25 minutes! This inspite of not having the "proper" tools--I had no stubby phillips, so I used a W#2 P bit and a 1/4" werench. etc.
The Nichol's-Chilton time manual gives 2.8 hours for the same operation.
Now, to be fair, I have not reinstaled the hoses, or refilled the cooling system, but I think I can still beat that 2.8 hours, even if I take off for diner.

A great big Oilburners.net round of applause for WARDEN!
