Fuel Mileage

What kind of fuel mileage are you getting with your 6.0L? My dad has one and he is scared to check it. He thinks it is about 25% worse then his 7.3 What are your experiences?

My F550 work truck gets 7-8 mpig.
This is better than my old V10 got but still not as good as my D/A gets

How much does it weigh? Mine scales 9900, but the tools add another 500 or so. Also the 8 foot wide utility body has the aerodynamics of a brick

about 14000 lbs with the deck tool boxes and hiab some times more with our mud around here.

My dad just got his reflashed. Hopefully it helps fuel mileage. Hopefully it helps the stalling (no chafed wires), dead pedal, and poor power too. ;p

My mileage is 15.0 on an almost consistent basis. Winter or summer ,driven at 55 or 70 seems to make little difference. Probably running with load at 10750 most days. I guess I got nuttin to complain about. I try to keep the tires pumped to max pressure, but the ride suffers a bit.
