Howdy ..Whats the right application to get. Looking to install something simple inline right after the OEM filter before the new IP as i am keeping my mechanical lift pump, what is the correct flow rate /GPH that the filter should be rated for in order for it to handle our IDI application.

Plenty of RACOR and other choices on E-gay

Look at a CAT 1r-0749 / 1R-0750. These are 2-micron absolute filters.
Filter head is $26, and filters are in the $20 range.

If you want something to filter your fuel as finely as possible, these will do it. And they should flow enough, considering they are designed for big-rigs using /far/ more fuel than we are.

I have been really considering to go with Electric Pump and free the side of the mechanical lift pump to rout the turbo drain to it if it's all possible

Facet Dura-Lift Fuel Pump, 33gph, 120 Inch Dry Lift
