First trip with wvo

I run it for about 1200 miles, and I have a few thing I'd like to share.

Egt's where lower for about 50 to 100 degrees.
Coolant temp about the same, although it seem lower.
Boost was lower 1 or 2 lbs, I do not make much boost usually (i was running empty too) but it was less boost.

The power was a bit lower but nothing too bad for close to free fuel . Well not soo cheap yet, since I have to make up for the money I spend on the whole project.


Well for those that are planing on doing it, I must say I like the results so far .

My SVO system has been running for a week. I should have converted years ago. I expect that after 6 months I will have amortized the cost of the system. My first long road trip will be in two weeks.

I'm filtering down to 1 micron now.

I'm running 50 gal of soy VVO at first. I'm still working on settling, filtering and de-watering but my plan is to go down to 1 micron. Both the OEM fuel filter and water separator filters are rated at 10 microns.

Water filter from evilbay, they have a whole setup and you can convine shipping, also you can get the filters at home cheapo, I don't remember the head or braket but it should be there too. They have them on 1, 5, 10, 20 micron. It works pretty good.
