we were on our way home from montana and i noticed the truck was sounding wered but only at an idle, but after stoping for lunch it was worse we pulled out of the parking lot and BOOOOM. i looks like a pease of the front retainer broke off and was jammed between the flywheel and the bell housing, it busted the bell housing in half and also cracked the tail housing.
after being rescued by family we towed the truck to Whithall MT i broke out a chunk of the bell houseing and found the flywheel can be turned by hand
it will be two weeks before i can go back to montana to get the truck and pull the tranny to see what happend for sure.
