Hello! Quick question...

I normally use Chevron Delo 15W-40 oil. However, when I went to pick up the oil to do my change today, the store was sold out of Delo...so I instead grabbed 3 gallons of Mobil Delvac 1300 15W-40.

If I need to add any oil between now and my next change, can I use some of the Delo I already have? Or do I need to stick with Delvac until the next oil change?

Thanks!

I'd stick with the delvac until the next change. The chemical cocktail these diesel oils have qualifies them as a synthetic. So, rather than chance trouble, stay with one brand until the next change.

Would have been nice if they had said that on the package

Ehh, I can still put the extra Delo I've got onhand in the Benz :)

Thanks!
