Ive been driving a 91 w350 cummins for awhile now.

I needs a roof and interior work but runs like a top. The pump is cranked up with a denny t stage 2 pin. With 3.08s and a worn 727 it has no problem roasting 38s.

On that note Im always on the look out for first gen trucks for parts and have always wanted a 4 door but they don't pop up very often. But I got lucky and finally came across one.

Its a 83 w350 4x4 shortbed with a rebuilt 360, 4.10s and a 727

The truck runs like a top and even has working ac.

The body is straight and roof is intact, but the window frame is pretty rotted and inner roof need some attention.

Ive got a few ve motors and a few p pump cummins setups.

I plan to replace the roof on my 91 single cab and will likely plate the 4 door till that's done then pull the 4 door apart and rewire it with a 92 dash and 40k rebuilt p pump engine as well as a nv4500. I haven't decided if I should swap 3.55s in or not but will cross that road when I need to.

The truck has factory dual tanks, coupled with the fact that its a shortbed, its going to be pretty hard to come up with a dual tank bed. My buddy has a step side bed that may find its way onto my truck lol.

Ill get some more interior pics later this week. The seats are comfy but need to be recovered and the steering column could use a some grease, but I drove it 60 miles home without any issues. Other than it ate 30 dollars worth of gas.

I also need to buy some door seals for the front and make them for the back, They are all pretty dry.

That is a beauty Billy, I read of many doing swap and it sounds very easy compared to others. You can't go wrong with a p-pump and nv4500. Having the option I would go with 3.55 gears.

The only body style of dodge I like.

Are their only 4 cab lights? Or is one missing?

Its missing one. I'm on the lookout for another cab for roof panels. The twisting dirt roads managed to make some of the rust show its ugly faca around the windshield.

I think I figured out the paint scheme I want. Just have to find time to start tearing it down and begin the fun rust treatment. Never dealt with rust so I'm on a bit of of learning curve.

A lot of the 70s models were. A cable company had this one.

I'll probably leave the 4 inch lift one it. My 91 w350 has 8 inches of lift and 38s and its a bit harder to pull my gooseneck trailer with it.

Got a roof sitting in Missouri. Just have to find some time to get up there to get it.

I'm glad to see the project is going forward Billy. There should be some 80's dodge with a good roof near FL, still I like the look on that truck.
