Not sure where to post this:
My buddy bought a 03 F350 was a 6.0 and now 5.9 VE w/ H1C turbo at an auction 6 months ago . Last week his tcase snapped the mounting flange on his 5R110 smooth off going down the highway and did some serious damage. We found an 05 trans and tcase to throw in got that done, hooked up, and all new U Joints. Now the truck shifts like it has some serious shift kit in it but all gears seem to work. We used the painted torque converter from the Cummins swap.
We are wondering if this is normal relearn or if it needs a reflash?
Also where would we find the tcm to see who might have programed it? Havent seen a single sticker anywhere, its just an old farm truck.
