I've never been a fan of automatic transmissions in trucks that have to work much. I'm wondering how big of an ordeal it is to swap to a manual in a 2000 4x4 crew cab (SRW). Would obviously include changing the transmission, Tcase, and possibly Drive shaft, but what about installing the clutch? How much "Stuff" has to be removed in order to gain access to the area? I presume the break pedal and associated mounting hardware would all need to be swapped out also. Just trying to get an idea of the scope of such a project.
