We plan to stay for a weekend. Think we are going to try for the 4th July weekend. Wish we could stay for the whole week but work is really busy and the wife has to see a specialist on July 8th to see what's going on with her health. We believe it's either Fibromyalgia or Rheumatoid arthritis. Hopefully they can figure it out, she's in constant pain and swells all the time. Pretty much miserable most of the time.

First off sorry to hear about your wife. Hopefully they get her to feeling better.
Glad to hear you are going to be able to make it for at least a little bit. Did you get your reservations made yet? I haven't talked to the campground in a couple of weeks, I know that they are starting to fill up fast.

Someone cancelled on there cabin. We picked it up for 2 days July 3-4 so if someone would like a cabin july 5-11 give Melisa a call and reserve it. My not be able to bring the truck due to it needs some repairs to be road worthy again. Not sure if I have the time to do it may just take it to a shop:dunno Got to talk it over with the wife.

She started to take Omega-3 (fish oil) it seems to help her with her pain and swelling for some reason. But still going to the Doctor on the 8th. I'm just glad she's feeling better!

That's good news on the fish oil. Hopefully the doctor can offer some more help.

I know for myself I am looking forward to the rally. I am truely looking forward to spending some time just hanging out enjoying the trucks with friends.

Here is a picture from one of the cruise routes we will be taking. Doesn't quite look like your typical indiana vista. Annie and took off on the scoot again today to run this cruise in the attempt that we don't get lost with the group in tow. Lol. Yes it's easy to get turned around in this area of indiana. We had a beautiful day for riding the scoot. 90 degrees so let's hope we don't have temps like today during the rally but it's indiana so if you don't like the weather.... Just wait 5 mins it will change.

I can't wait Travis! So need the time away from work. It's gonna be great to relax and enjoy friends/camping.

Any idea where our sites are? Are we close together? Just a week away!

Yes we are all right up front close to the pool and camp office. My cabin is right next to the camp office so we are all right together. And yes I'm looking forward to some time off as well to just relax.

ok folks here is an update to the plans for the rally.

Friday - nothing planned as we will all be arriving.

Saturday - We will take a cruise up to Camp Atterbury to visit the outdoor vehicle display (weather permitting - we have been experiencing a lot of rain here the last month). We will do our pitch in meal later on that day. Fireworks display will be at the local high school we will cruise over there.

Sunday - we will visit the town of Nashville Indiana, we can take a tour of the Pioneer Village ($2 donation). Train Trolley which gives you a tour of the town of Nashville ($5 per person)

Monday - Sunday - You are on VACATION! we will take a few cruises through the area like down to Story Inn, Bean Blossom Coverage Bridge, Bear Wallow Distillery, maybe a trip to our local winery for a tasting.

I would recommend that if you like craft beer to stop by Big Woods Brewing in Nashville for a growler they do a pretty good job.
