1991 f250 idi dead in Gilmer Texas need help

My dad is stranded along side the road by Gilmer Texas with a 1991 f250 idi. Not getting fuel to the filter. New lift pump. Any one in the area?

did he get going ok ADV or need a tow? what happened? let me guess; bad replacement lift pump/new out of box?
made in China/Mexico crap.don't ya love it.
that or the pickup screen disintegrated and he run her down under 1/4 tank.
