Seems the biggest problem with running wmo is it possibly coaking everything up especially in cars like the mercedes and vw. So wouldnt keeping waste atf mixed with the wmo prevent that as the atf has all the detergents to keep everything clean. Has anybody been using a mix and still had coaking...
Relating to my thread here: https://www.oilburners.net/threads/7-3idi-wvo-and-glow-plugs.91408/
During March/April I will expect a shipment of especially designed glow plugs for the 7.3idi engines. - I have to order this weekend to make the schedule happen.
Idea is to bring the starting...
So I went to get some kero today for a couple heaters, and to my shock it is a dollar a gallon cheaper than diesel (here).
For cold-weather, I was planning to run up to 50% diesel and 50%w80 in my main tank (start and stop on separate diesel tank). I also did some research and cannot find the...
Hey y'all, my way into work this morning I was running WMO when the truck starred surging a bit. Switched it over to plain diesel and smelled diesel the whole way in to work. I pull in, pop the hood, and sure enough; the rear driver injector is soaking wet.
(Wet injector and dry injector...
What is the absolute best filtering centrifuge. USFILTERMAXX has a centrifuge that gets up to 10k gs i imagine that would be really well filtered. Is there any other centrifuge thats better or is there an even better process for filtering the oil. I want as clean of oil as possible so ill have...
Recently started running WMO in my 6.9 IDI. Truck ran like a top here for a while, but recently it started surging. I only put oil in the rear tank at about a 50/50 mix. While driving, the engine will randomly accelerate about 500 RPM before dropping back down, even on cruise. Switching to the...
We were doing the dynamic IP timing on my van.
With Diesel: 8.4 btdc.
the engine fired up nicely - and there was no smoke at no time while driving.
Air filter is good.
Return-line is good.
Today I have a 2-tank system and I am using 2 heat exchanger. One at a second filterhead and another one...
When it comes to the actual engine design is the idi better at burning wmo than a di diesel. Im looking at the vw aaz idi and the alh tdi cant decide which one to use.
Hi all, I have 55 Gallons of emulsified hydraulic oil for the taking if anyone wants it. Have cleaned a bit of it up to burn in fuel oil heaters over the winter but don't have the time to deal with it any more. I've got air and electricity to pump it.

So I found this website called ferromit.com/WMOstill.html that has plans for an oil still to make diesel fuel. I don't know a lot about oil distillation but it seems it would be a good way to super clean any used oil and not have to worry about filters and expensive centrifuges. Has anyone tried...
Has anyone tried useing gear oil as fuel. A mine is just throwing away a bunch of brand new ep150 and ep460 gear oil and was thinking it might make a good fuel.
