It's time. Gonna part out my 85.
Yes, TC included. It's been rebuilt with an RV calibration. It shifts NOW when under load. No slippage. Pretty smooth in normal driving. I'll post up some pics this afternoon.- f-two-fiddy

How To: Remove That Infamous Top Starter Bolt
I use 2' of extensions, and come in from in front of the motor. Can easily use a power tool when doing it this way.- f-two-fiddy

Many thanks to riotwarrior, I found the correct plug for the adapter. It was a PITA getting to it. But I've got everything hooked the way I need. Even found a reverse signal for the back up camera.- f-two-fiddy

What the heck is up with my trailer plugs?
The oem plugs provide a 7 pin hookup. I'm trying to do this without cutting ANY OEM wires. I REFUSE to use any type of vampire tap. They make P&P adapters for almost every application out there. I just can't find the adapter that fits my OEM plugs- f-two-fiddy

So, I pretty much gave up on finding a KO 12V source on my OEM Trailer wiring. But I was looking to get a 4 pin harness, and a 7 pin. So, I go to Hopkins site. No constant 12V at the 7 Pin trailer plug???
This is on my '93 I've done a little research and found what appears to be the '93 diesel under hood fuse panel. I do have the relay listed as "trailer battery charge" I did have the engine running when I probed for KO 12V. Maybe I'll have to disassemble the male plug end and see if the...- f-two-fiddy

No constant 12V at the 7 Pin trailer plug???
I was under the assumption that the OEM 7 pin had a KO 12v pin? My truck has the original Ford branded 7 pin installed, all OEM wiring, yet I do not get 12v constant (trailer battery charge) at any pin. Am I missing a fuse? Under hood fuse panel? In cab?- f-two-fiddy

Pretty happy with the results.
Yep. I concur. The only other things I did was re-insulate the plenum box with self adhesive duct wrap, and ad the heater bypass valve. She went down another few degrees! She runs at between 34-38 degrees @60 MPH ;Sweet- f-two-fiddy

Does anyone know if the ZF equipped trucks have anywhere in cab that I can pick up a reverse signal? I'm planning a new head unit install, and was hoping to run the back up camera without having to pull the signal from the rear of the truck.- f-two-fiddy

Heater Core Bypass Valve
So, I have the valve in hand, and was wondering if there is a vacuum source that works on normal AC. Not just Max AC. I'd like to have the heater core bypassed any time AC is selected.- f-two-fiddy

Correct Bilstein Shocks
Mine mounted upside down from what yours did. On the rear, the end with the metal bushing goes down. :dunno Also, be prepared to replace the lower mounting bolts on the bottom mounts. Every one I've ever removed showed wear. Allowing slop between the shock bushing/bolt. They are hardened...- f-two-fiddy
