    I would use heli-coils. I personally think all aluminum threads should be heli-coiled. So much stronger.

    A good healthy smack witha a big hammer on the fan side wrench in the direction you want it to go always worked for me. Try holding the pulley with a chin wrench

    Permatex Ultra Black. It will hold up to the oil better. Just clean it REAL good.

    Time to go through the engine, questions and concerns though.

    Pull the transmission before you pull the engine and reverse on install. It is so much easier to clear the crossmember. Replace the fuel return lines. I found out the hard way.

    Change the pump. It WILL fail at this point.

    If you converted to hydroboost from vacuum, The vacuum sensor may still be hooked up. The sensor is not plugged in on the F-450's. Just unplug it and the light should go out.

    My truck is back

    THe truck was T-boned by a GMC Envoy doing 35 mph. I think she was going faster. My wife came out of it with a cut on her leg and a sore back. The truck drives great now.

    New 1995 F-250 Powerstroke

    When my CPS was going out, it would cut out for a split second, then come back to life. Replaced the sensor, no more problems.

    When I bought the truck back, I had to go to MVD and get it transferred to a salvage title, then fax it to them.
