Oil Change on 2009 F-250 Diesel
I just left the new car lot, I'm thinking about trading in my 2001 F-250 diesel for a new 2009 model. I asked the salesman about changing my own oil. He told me the dealer has to do it, I can't do it myself. Something about lifting the body from the engine. Is this true, or can I do it myself...- letsrun100

Tranmission service I had my fluid and filter changed today. I watched the guy do it so I could do it myself next time. Piece of cake!! I agree, change the filter too. Anyone have step by step instructions? Also, any information regarding the 2001 model transmission repairs? I've heard that was a bad year. I have 122K on mine and it runs fine (knock on wood).- letsrun100
