HCFM
i wasn't even sure what that was until i looked it up. i know nothing has been touched since we've owned it. and the dealer i bought it from probably didn't either. so i'll go and get the filters tomorrow and drain the HCFM and see what she does. thanks a ton, i'll keep ya updated.
i have an 05 6.0 its only got around 65 thousand miles on it. when we first bought it with 56 thousand miles it had a lot of power and when you mashed the accelerator it would put you back in your seat and give a nice hard shift through all the gears. now it just kinda gets there when it wants...
problem solved
REALLY THIS TIME!!! my starting problem is now solved!!! my relay sounds like a remote control prop plane under my hood now! thanks everyone!
so if i run the line straight off the relay to the switch i can eliminate the controler on the back of the motor? i'm getting power into the controller but not out. my relay is puting out 11.9 volts to the top of the controller, but nothing is going to the plugs.
CRAP!!!
okay so it worked after two hours of being unplugged then plugged in. now its not. i went out when it was time to leave work and it was a no go. starter sounds good and strong but no fire at all. i was told that my relay could be bad or air is sneaking in at my filter and causing my...
how in depth is the valley pan gasket to change out. i'm sure i'm going to have to change my valve covers and it looks like the valley pan is leaking too. i figured i might as well do it in one shot.
is there a certain freeze plug that is "notorious" for leaking on the 6.9's? i thought before that my head gasket was shot but i think i'm wrong now. the smell that i thought was coolant in the exhaust i was wrong about (like i said i'm new to diesels). the gunk in my radiator is actually...
thank you! any one know of a certain freeze plug that likes to go out on the 6.9's? i'm leaking antifreeze. awhile back i thought it was the heads but i was wrong about the smell of antifreeze in my exhaust. (like i said i'm new to diesels) that coupled with the fact that my oil is not milky...

i can't hear it. and i just realized it at two thirty this a.m. when i called it quits on the truck. oh well, the plugs that were in there were cheap autolites and they are fried! i got a block heater. now i just have to get in into the truck. i do believe that i have to...

oh yeah!!
oh yeah i plug my truck in!!! it hit negative 20 last night. i've been plugging it in when its cold for the year that i've had it. last winter it would fire right up no matter how cold it was as long as i plugged it in. like i said, i don't jere the click under the hood any more...
