    I spoke with a guy today who said that the solenoid pack could be bad. In this case it's $200-$300 for a new one. But... throwing $300 at a transmission with 350,000 miles may not be a good idea.

    Mine has 4.10 gears and 245 tires instead of 235's. I just looked up the code. And of course and E4OD and 7.3 with the 94 stock turbo. Also, bad front end parts which I'm sure have an affect.

    Will an OBDII code reader pick the codes up? Also, I'm going to try changing the fluid just as a hopeful attempt (I will check the codes as well if I can get to a shop that can do it-we live very rurally). When I change the fluid (and filter), how do I make sure I drain the Torque Converter?
