    Timing effects on starting

What do you mean by aids... ether? if so your GPs are trash now. one shot of ether will burn the tips off of 6.9 and 7.3 IDI GPs. if you have a PSD, it has an intake heater whigh will cause an explosion possibly if you use ether....

    PSD 7.3 Transmissions Problematic?

the only real difference between the E4OD and the 4R100, is the 4R100 has a PTO gear in it... they are equally as weak. my IDI, even before mods, crapped out two of them. then, with the mods, had it redone the 3rd time with the Trans-Go kit... it cures their weaknesses-which are all fluid flow...

Need an IP, where is the best place to get one?

if you have your pump rebuilt, or buy a rebuilt pump and not a custom pump like the moose, have your fuel turned up 20-25%... build a custom intake with the largest "conical" filter you can buy. the factory air filter is actually smaller than the air filter on a 300 cu.in. 6 cylinder gas...

    Injector noises

the injectors are not the noise makers... they are operated by the engine oil. gotta be cranking/running... what you are hearing is the electric pump, the test mode of all sensors/actuators, and the cold starting aids (GPs, intake heater, fuel heater)

    E4OD Issue - O/D Light flashing

have it towed to a trans shop. DONT drive it. when the OD light flashes you have major issues. if driven, it could cause failure. it needs to be scanned and logged while driving, so all sensors are watched.

the ford air dams are very important. sometimes. each truck is different. my body and i removed the ones on our trucks, but all we did was off-road them or highway. if we had a heavy load, it was just on the back roads... their purpose is simple... keep the ground level, hot (heated by the black...
