Also feel free to message me about it, there is cheaper options for the fuel pump. One that i have been running for over a year now that seems to be doing great.
It is possible to still use the stock selector valve, you would just need to find the proper fittings, and i would suggest running a pump for each tank, and regulating both tanks before the selector valve. I would not recommend adding that much pressure to the selector valve or putting the pump...
1. Nope, I still have the filter head mounted on the engine also, but i built a bracket off to the left of the alternator and relocated it there.
2. For the return, I have R&D rails and they go straight back to the tank.
3. I don't run the tank valve anymore, this high pressure pumps are not...
hey, let me know if you have any questions. that is for a high pressure setup, i can post information as well for a holley red setup, although it seems like their current quality is starting to slip. thanks.
Ive been running Opti-Lube winter blend here in Kansas and not a single issue yet. Every diesel generator on this site gelled up Monday, truck fired up with no issues. I would also recommend their summer blend for the summer. 1 gallon for about 90$ lasts me around 4 months, treats 2,500 gallons.
On my trip towing my 11,000 lb enclosed trailer from South Carolina to Kansas from Kansas to Oklahoma and from Oklahoma back to South Carolina I averaged on the interstate about 3000 to 3100 RPMs constantly. Zf5 4 10
