Injection Pump Issues and Adjustment Procedure

Zion ... Were you able to diagnose and resolve to problem? I am having a similar issue... UPON STARTUP, I have to keep the engine at fast 2200 rpms while engine surges; When the Temp gauges reaches operating range, the engine settles and idles nice. 1987 F250 6.9L
