Any Kind of Power upgrades for a N/A IDI?
I agree with muddy. A small amount of hp can be gained from advancing the timing slightly, turning in the fuel screw about a sixth turn, (one flat). (On passenger side of pump, under cover, bar over the engine until you can see it.) Intake mods, and make sure he still has a cold air intake...- turbokid

I can guarantee (just about) that you'll love it when you use it. Even if the truck wouldn't start, I would think an electric winch wouldn't go very far without the alternator to recharge the batteries. Although it probably would go reasonable distance... I've never owned a winch before...- turbokid

6.5 turbo into a 6.2??????
I'm not positive, but from my old days on The Diesel Page, it seems like the hummer had to have a different turbo setup because of the clearance issues. Although I may be incorrect. I know the 6.5 turbo can be put on a 6.2 in the pickup, with some clearance issues that can be resolved around...- turbokid

Yeah, I need to update my pics, though, those ones were before I installed the HX-35/12 and the first gen intercooler... I now also have 3" pipe to and from intercooler, instead of the 2" in the pics. It runs real good, especially since I added the holset. Still need to dyno it, and maybe do...- turbokid
