On my way home from work I put one of my neighbor's calves back in (for the 2nd time that day) and temp. fixed the fence again. I stopped at the house to tell him. He asked if I had some time. I said, "Sure."
We got in his truck and drove to the crime scene. He had me hand him his ".44 mangler"...
You haven't given us much to go on as far as what you've checked so far.
I assume you checked that the lamps are good. I assume you checked that the sockets are clean and making good contact with the lamps.
There is a mechanical switch on your brake pedal. Check that it hasn't moved out of...
I got a new set from Russ last year and they turned to rust within a month or so. It's really a bummer to look at them. They work fine but they look like hell.
Gotcha. Thanks for taking the time to post that.
I replaced my pump last year. I didn't know about that valve. And I don't know if a clean one came with my "new" pump or if I'm still running an old crusty one that I reconnected to the new pump.
My truck is running fine but I'm wondering if I...
I finally found a visual on what goes on in there. FFWD to 2:00 in the video.
I may still have to trash my new tonneau cover to get in there but at least now I know what to try doing from the outside as a last-ditch effort.
The handle of my tailgate latch broke on the passenger side. It will still unlock the driver's side.
I was shining a flashlight in the hole to try to find a way to unlock the passenger side with a screwdriver or something but I don't know what I'm looking at in there.
Does any of you know what...
I did a little more digging. It seems that 1980-1996 Bronco and Super Cab front seats are all interchangeable.
And 1980-1996 Single Cab and Crew Cab front seats are interchangeable.
That's great news. My only problem now is finding one. All the junk yards here are only open on weekdays. :-(
This winter has been disappointing to me. The ice on the lake wasn't safe to fish or skate on until this past week.
And it's still not safe to ride our snowmobiles on.
I may need to move further north.
We'd have folks (usually recent transplants "from away") complain publicly about the town's snow plowing.
They soon usually had no mailbox. ;-)
I'm not including you in that group. It just reminded me of that. lol
The single digit temps here finally notified me that my batteries weren't as good as I assumed they were. No start.
I "upgraded" the starter this fall but didn't notice a huge difference. I was a bit disappointed.
I just threw 2 new 850 CCA batteries in there (1,000 CCA not in stock :-() and...
Great stuff if you can find it. It's the 4th highest BTU of all firewood.
It was more common in VT than here in Maine.
But we have lots of Beech here. Almost as good. And most trees in my area are red oak. Also good stuff.
I don't burn wood since I left VT. I really do miss it. But I don't have...
I wish my console lifted up and turned it into a bench seat when needed. My Dodge has that and was pretty handy.
It there a year that Fords had that and I could swap into my '87?
Have any of you installed step bars? I've been looking into them and some say "no drill" and then some of the reviews say they had to drill.
Looking for a 'No drill" set, if they exist.
Help?
I wish I kept that Pursang, and the '73 Alpina, but there was no internet then so it was pretty tough to find parts.
I'm sure I could have revived both of them today. And they would have some value.
I traded both of them (not running) at a shop for sprockets and a chain for my XR500R. Ugh.
