    I managed to get it open from the outside. Looks like an easy fix and replacements are cheap. If yours is feeling stiff give it some lube. ;-)

    I finally found a visual on what goes on in there. FFWD to 2:00 in the video. I may still have to trash my new tonneau cover to get in there but at least now I know what to try doing from the outside as a last-ditch effort.

    I did a little more digging. It seems that 1980-1996 Bronco and Super Cab front seats are all interchangeable. And 1980-1996 Single Cab and Crew Cab front seats are interchangeable. That's great news. My only problem now is finding one. All the junk yards here are only open on weekdays. :-(

    New guy to the IDIs

    I wish I kept that Pursang, and the '73 Alpina, but there was no internet then so it was pretty tough to find parts. I'm sure I could have revived both of them today. And they would have some value. I traded both of them (not running) at a shop for sprockets and a chain for my XR500R. Ugh.
