If I crank the pulley with a socket wrench it's hard to turn but can get about one pull or about 3 inches on wrench after that will crank over maybe one revolution and then stick again..very very loud. https://streamable.com/1gkauf
So my original water separator was leaking air, replaced with goldenrod water separator running after a seachoice electric pump. Im debating installing another filter of smaller micron either before fuel pump or after at the IP. Im planning on running wmo in the coming months. How much...
BTW that what i meant pressure not vac..but like im saying if there is too much pressure to move fuel to injectors then whats the point of people saying to cylcle pump before glow plugs solves air intrusion hard start,?
Im holding it to positive and negative of battery..when i unhook the outlet off of injector pump it pumps plenty of fuel but hooking it up to injector pump inlet it stops because of vacume? Only lets fuel in when cranking engine.
Sick of air intrusion coming and going trying to hook up facet pump.
Ive heard people say in message board you can hook up electric and pump fuel while waiting on glow plugs to cylcle. Well unless im not cranking engine fuel wont move.what am i missing here?
Its not possible to be motor mounts right because flywheel cant move. Its almost like when i let off gas the flywheel is spinning on clutch or metal..instantly goes away no mater speed if accelerate or push in clutch..Im perplexed.
Everything was fine after i swapped the e4od for zf5 until front driveshaft came off at high speed "diddnt know it got bumped into 4x4 snapped of hit frame and snapped tail section..replaced tail section and also went to smf. After replacement i have the sound when there is a load is let off of...
Hate to beat a dead horse or open a can of flywheel politics but..
A while back snapped the tailhousing on zf5 decided while in there to do the clutch " worked fine though".
After some reading i went with LUK SMF.
This thing is loud . And its making me nervous that its killing my trans.
When...
After more research theres no way for the sake of time, lack of tools and location of truck i can pull off a full rebuild of transmission. Prewty surw springs would fly off into the bushes. But... If you check out this video at 4:35 when the casing is slipped off. My thoughts are i can find a...
Doing more reading, yes it seems trans has to come out being rear loaded transmission. So because everything is attached inside but is there a way to slide it out remove rear alan bolts attaching inside assembly and replace rear tail? Or will the whole thing explode if i try?
First off thanks Russ from typ4 for coming thru with new tail housing. Can thank you enough for the help.
So im trying to get this replaced without taking it out but im sure theres plenty of reasons it has to come out. Its just the guy thats helping me keeps saying why?
Also anyone know a...
Awesome, ill pick it up from ya, this is my only truck now and im missing work.. I dont know much about what fits on it. But its worth a shot. If you get a chance snd me a text or call at 661-874-6345
So i didn't notice that the shifter had been bumped and i was in 4wd and at 60mph my front driveshaft Ujoint exploded and took out the rear tail housing. Completely snapped in half..ratchet strapped back together and it runs and shifts belove it or not with minimal leaks . Cant find a tail...
Sorry if im tying up message board lately, im close to getting this thing finally done. Been running the z5 swap from e40d for about a week with no problems. Yesterday its started squeeking loud when clutch was engaged and then next day hard shifts into 1st 2nd and reverse. Have to slam...
So why is this here on the fender well?..it makes no sense unless its just a bridge or a fuse but the right side terminal has starter wires from solenoid when key start and the other wires go into harness and disappear in the loom..whats the point of this?..is it a fuse or what?
