7.3 idi 93 to 89 swap?
Will a 7.3 motor out of a 92 or 93 year, bolt up to a 89 with an e4OD transmission? Just want to cross my T's and dot my I's before i buy this motor.- SethB

wiring help
trying to complete this mod, https://www.oilburners.net/threads/e4od-torque-converter-lock-up-mods.43777/ (the second option) can someone tell or link how to wire a resistor, I have no experiance with them. Also, where is the best place to buy a resistor, or does it matter.- SethB

Help! Mess of problems.
I am no mechanic but am mechanicaly inclined. anyway, 1989 F-350, 7.3 IDI Torque converter locks and unlocks randomly blows black smoke like a freight train (terrible fuel mileage) and I think I am forgetting something here. 1989 7.3 idi computer
1989 f-350 idi E40D transmission Could anyone tell me if my computer is bad? My tach is not working, and trans only has high and low. (limp mode?) I have done research, looks like 3 main components, Ecu, tach sensor, and speed sensor. I put in a new tach, sensor, and my speed guage works...- SethB

New to OB, 1989 7.3 idi Long story short, I have 6 bad glow plugs, I will just replace them all. I am no mechanic, but have common sense. Can anyone tell me what the number is on my plugs? I have been looking on rockauto.com and it appears that there are different models (number stating with Z)...- SethB
