    The PO of my truck swapped the toast 6.9 out for a junkyard 7.3 of unknown miles. Still kicking very many thousands of miles later. Rebuild kit would have costed more than the rusty old truck is worth When this one goes out it's getting another JK motor with all the CDD goodies

    Only thing that has me second guessing GPs is that it fired and then died. I doubt bad glowplugs would cause it to die after running for some time :dunno

    Ahaha are you bumper pulling that? I do it all the time to move my gooseneck empty. Frowned upon but as long as your tongue weight is correct and the trailer is level it's also legal.

    Many ways to skin this cat. If I were to do it again, I'd go with the super duty leaf springs and if money wasn't an issue then 2005+ coil sprung axle is what I'd use. Would 2+ish inches of lift be a deal breaker? Rsk's are supposed to ride better and are easier to mount than oem 4wd brackets...
