Thanks guys and yeah i have noticed that the search button is awesome around here. I understand that a turbo is king but it is really time consuming to fab it all up in a way that lasts and doesn't leak oil or exaust everywhere. I am gonna post pics of my build and keep goin n/a mostly just for...- lkc2cool

not cranking and no speedo
Still thinking key switch issues for some reason. You can check that sensor on the rear axle with a test light to see if its getting power. Sometimes the rod from the ignition to the key switch gets bent out of shape bend it straight and it goes to work again sometimes just guessing.- lkc2cool

I would replace the key switch and the starter solenoid after that go about looking behind the dash for anything that could have been stomped loose with a large and clumsy boot in a hard stop if not then look at the starter and see if the wire makes it to the starter. beyond that then without a...- lkc2cool

So here is my idea I want to build the most powerful n/a diesel I can. I figure that if I do that then when I do add a turbo (when the money allows) then I will have a platform that is ready to pin my ears back in a most terrible way. I am looking for add on parts like cam heads and head porting...- lkc2cool
