Transmission Issue
I have a 92 chevy k1500 with the 6.2. Has an odd problem on what I think is a 700r4. It will stay in first until about 2500 rpm then shift straigt to what seems like 3rd gear since the converter will lock a few seconds after and thats as far as it will go, no 4th. Just bought a 92 chevy with the 6.2 in it, definatly a project truck since it was sitting for a very long time but it fired right up and only had a few hicups on the trip home. I know a bit about diesels (mostly powerstrokes) so this idi is a whole new world to me. Hope to help as much as I can...- 92chevyidi
