More interested in any charging lol and the gm 1 wire is easy to hook up and never had one let me down so far the ford charging system has been nothing but trouble and a money pit that only charges at 1500rpm and up.

Ok new filter and trucks running ok ill pick up another filter to keep in the box asap. I poured the diesel out of the old filter into a jar it did have alot of debris in it so looks like ill be changing filters for awhile
Well today drove it again and running like hell missing and blowing grey smoke and no power. Havent been able to pick up a filter yet really hope itll help when i do.
Theres a couple of them in pick n pull maybe ill go grab all the injectors and build a pop tester. Its running great now im kinda afraid to mess with it haha
Thanks so much guys i love this truck but really freaked me out hearing that knock. I put 30 miles on it today and not a sound still driving perfect. Can i take apart my injectors and clean them?
Ok so been working on this damn thing for months finally ready to use it for its purpose to haul my Rock Crawler around so two full tanks of diesel fresh oil change new ps filter flushed coolant and filled with fleetgaurd everything's been working great untill i actually need it.

I pulled out my ac pump and put in a york style pump then mounted a 5gallon tank under the driver side of my bed with a quick connect air fitting. I havent had money to get a pressure switch yet so its just run off a toggle switch but it do have a 125psi pop off valve if i let it get that high...
Both are new there huge semi batteries 850cca im sure it was alittle low from radio and i put a switch to my high idle solenoid to help with cold starts and run my on board air faster.
So tested today and i was mistaken its 11.4 volts at idle then 14.5 anythong over 1000rpm but right back to 11 after i let off. Its driving great got most of the bugs worked out but watching the charge gauge on the dash bugs me. Its about middle of factory gauge while driving but at stop light...
I replaced tge voltage regulator and still same thing. My vw alt has to be excited by a quick rev but then charges this one even after a rev it drops back to nothing i had the alt tested and it passed everything both of them. I like the 135 amp alt but at this point i feel i would be better off...

I have lestek 9290df im not sure if its internal regulated or not actually. It used the same plug as the original alt just has two battery out puts that are bridged. It charges fine anything over 1000rpm. Im not sure how to post pictures yet but ill try to get some up
So ive searched and searched and tried different fixs but still cand get it to charge at idle. New regulator fancy dual isolated alt from a fire truck. New napa alt new batteries and cables im lost any suggestions?
