good to hear everyone's trip went well. hopefully the next one will work out for me to make it. lower fuel prices and maybe a shorter drive would help. the old cummins and 45ft camper dont add up to fuel economy lol.
hate to be last minute but a few things popped up and i will not be able to make this rally. i had planned on making the trek but it wont work this year. fuel prices aren't helping either, all tho they are going down in my area. i hope everyone has a good time and it looks like Danielle planned...
yeah its still on the planning board, and i could say its like most towns and no progress has been made yet lol. my lift i would use to work on it has been occupied with paying jobs so hard to turn them away. way she goes i guess lol.
i get what you mean. i am no expert in metallurgy but have done a lot of fab work on frames over the years and haven't had an issue with doing stuff like this. its not a structural weld so you could do small tacks and the heat will get soaked up quick. i would always prefer to weld and properly...
i would slap some weld on the worn spots and grind it flush. looks clean tho, and will come out awesome blasted and painted.
if i had to guess.. besides defiantly performing a 10 out of 10 durability test of the truck. maybe they tried mounting the 5th wheel to the bed and figured out that...
nice! would like to know how you like it once you get her going. i was looking at the Allison md3060 for another project. the 3060 has an overdrive and i believe the 543 is a 5 speed no overdrive.?
i was hoping for good news but none so far i guess..
im pretty much up for a rally anywhere but the long hauls will will be fun with the camper lol.
i can check the campground from my previous rally. i would volunteer to host again but i know its a bit far for some of yall, and i tend to stay...
There is a guy local to me parting out a 96 f350 CCLB full power interior. I'm looking to buy the whole cab, it has doors, dash and full interior all together and supposedly no rust.
Can anyone give me an idea of a realistic value? I thought $800. He won't tell me a price but it's looking like...
diesels in good shape in my area are stupid money.
i hear people rave how impressive the 6.0 CAN be WHEN it runs...
dont mean to be that guy but if i had that truck it would be getting a cummins or inline 6 diesel of the like.
auto. its just way more noticeable then i thought it would be. im fine with it cause i wanted a locker.
i have had limited slips and they have never worked when you REALLY need it. i'm not interested in the hopefully that ONE tire on pavement will lock vs the tire on ice lol.
i have not had...
I just put a Detroit locker in my dana 80 for my dodge. It does its job, make both tires spin lol.
I seem to feel this one working more for some reason than I remember. I installed one in a CCLB f350 dump truck and can't even notice it. My dodge is only a regular cab long bed so maybe the...
CuMmInS SwApIt BrO. lol
all jokes aside, id say it depends in how much power you want and what you tow, if much. the PSD can get expensive but has potential for much more power.
welcome!
there arent many cummins guys on here.. air dog makes some good stuff. i have the raptor replacement pump on my 98 24v. its decent for my power levels, with my edge on 6 it will run a little low on flow but i dont run 6 much. they make the bigger pumps to mount on the frame.
looks good from here mike! lol. i am sure thinking that will keep it cool. defiantly the advantage of the 6.4 clutch would be able to put the fan in full lock.
