Well I was just trying to get on down the road to a Truck Stop for the weekend with that permit load!!! Never heard anything till they blew out on that Semi-Trailer.
Shops are never large enough!!!! You sho rite bout that!!!
Rented a 10,000' shop cheap once for my welding shop. Less than a yr later already runned out of room!!
And when Trump was in I getting stuff to build my current shop.......Bought a big GN trailer load of 5/8" NEW painted MDO 4'x8' for...
Nice truck!
As far as wheel spacers I've only found studs that I felt I could run 1/2' spacers with on my dually.
As far as tires rubbing together another problem with tires too close together is picking up a rock & it sticking between tires & rubbing out sidewalls in 2-3-4 miles. Been there...
Yes @tbowker I is watching. I'm peeking round the corner & watching to see if Carol or any you other guys are watching me!!!
LOL I got you figured out. I noticed you used that all in the PAST TENSE @Jesus Freak. You didn't say "always is" or "am" or "should'a been" or or or...... LOL LOL
Well It's dark. I crawled out'a Bessie & wiped my boots off. Now I'm fixing to go in the house & see if Carol still breathing fire.
@Goat Mom always made me go stand in the corner...........
After that look of @Nero he gave me when I scrolled down......... I got scared, ran into the house with muddy boots, tracked up kitchen floor, ran down the hall to the bathroom, (tracking more mud) & flipped lite on, looked in the mirror!!!! BIGGEST look of fear since Halloween!
I turned out...

AI.....that's the secret fix....
I have decided that I ONLY plan on driving my rigs for ONLY one more year!!!!!!~ Will not be worried about balance problems no more, low fuel mileage, NOTHING!!!!
I got Carol (my wife) nearly happy!! Got her wheelbarrow with the 7.3 mounted on it nearly ready...
Think BB's.
Some folks run BB's, some run fuzzy target shot BB's, some run balance beads.
@IDIBRONCO pretty well said it, & I love running them.
As I understand things as you take off the beads spread out to the lighter side of the tire balancing the tire. Look up balancing chart. Usually...
@Jesus Freak .......remember the 6.9's & 7.3's........Mount one on that Dream Tow Trunk @Old Goat found & gonna give you!
Remember......I'm mounting one on my wifes WHEELBARROW so she can go shopping when she wants to!!!!!
Back in the 1960’s and early 1970’s I remember when we could go into a store that sold automotive stuff. Over in the oil section there was the different brands of oils.
Then there would be a section of recycled/used oil sold about 2/3 the price of new oils.
I bought a gallon once. It definitely...
When I had my centrifuge running and using it I always liked to have barrels of WMO setting & settling for 1-2-3 months if possible, especially in hot weather. Then I pumped approximately the top 3/4 barrel out and ran it thru the centrifuge. NEVER get all the total black out even if I ran it...
Couple LEARNING CURVE RULES:
NEVER run inside lanes, especially in big cities!!! Bessie quits I want to get to the shoulder!! & carry extra fuel filters.....7-8-9 extra fuel filters in back floorboard, even running up to 7Eleven & back!!!!
It's supposed to get a bit chilly this evening &...
How big is your shop? How wide & long & hi?
I'm VERY VERY envious as to how clean it is!!!!!!
I have one rented up town for bout 12 yrs & when I've cleaned, swept, put tools up it still looks like the city dump!!!
Im in process of building one here at home. A 40x64 with 14' walls, 1 14x14...
@Bart F-350 I have a centrifuge for my WMO, currently it is down. However with it I've always been worried about other unseen containments the centrifuge don't get out.
On my '90 F350 & my '92 F250 I use WMO Mix in one tank, diesel in the other tank. I start on diesel, warm up or go 2-3 miles...
@Bart F-350 RUG means Regular Unleaded Gasoline.
Over here some folks cut WMO with RUG different % depending on their rig or the weather. I have used it in the past early on when I first started running WMO or WVO back in 2003. For several years I just use WMO/Diesel mix to run on.
And I think...
To clarify to @94turbocrewcab-lb, you are correct 093 @Nero. Factory was 093 & had FORD on the filter/breather lid like my '94 engine. ATS 093 was identical IIRC but had ATS on the same filter lid.
Not that far from you @Jesus Freak & Pensacola but I don't remember what yr it was (about 1977-78) but I was leased on to C&H Transportation Heavy Haul. I had a big oversise, non escorted load headed over into a Mississippi power plant. I bootlegged it into small truckstop on east side of...
