    PwrSmoke..best reply on an oil thread to date.Personally,I will only run syn in my burn barrell.Lubiricity MAY be better..but the wild temp swings(oil temp) bothered me.

    I wondered about that.Didnt know if it would work. $400 about the cheapest part.No Sprk..I have the chevy adapter here(actually dual bolt,fits chev and buick,olds pont) its as beefy as the Dodge 6bt plate.Actually,it has more reenforcement than the Dodge unit goin to the back adapter to the trans.

    How do the folks running this cam deal with a smaller base circle.I have yet to figure out how the are returning the correct valvetrain geometry with non adj rocker.Even a adj roller setup will nor correct the "arc" due to reduced diameter of the lobe.Anyone?

    One tip...buy a donor instead of individual componets.I am nearing the end of a 4bt swap into a M 715.Cummins parts are somewhat pricey,esp 5 spds.I just found a 97 12 valve p pump out of a bus for 1200 with a ally 545.Could sell the trans and adapter for 600.
