To add some facts to this thread. read his stats above in first post. Towing 12k lbs he previously had a factory 6.0L intercooler swapped into his rig. the ONLY change was upgrading to the mishimoto. he got his replacement he went with the mishimoto 6.0L version. 25.75” x...- ddestruel

I think he may have sprang for a 6.0L version of the mishimoto or banks this morning. i gave him a copy of this thread i think most missed where he said he had a 6.0L intercooler prior to his wreck and that he was wondering if there was something that would offer a little more over that.- ddestruel

So a friend ran into some knuckle head who ran a red light the other day and is in the the process of rebuilding his front end etc on his 7.3L excursion. obviously some mods and he tows a lot at higher altitudes. HX35 + Banks Sidewinder parts?
I’ve seen a few guys run a HX35 on 6.9L’s with 14cm 16 cm and 18cm non waste gated exhaust housings. id be a little skeptical of the 18cm housing id think the spool up advantages of the hx35 might be diminished some but the use of the non WG housings may be an option for more mild engine...- ddestruel

side mount turbo manifold
in a retrofit project that Im doing i need a side mount for a turbo,d prefer a cast iron setup vs headers for heat soak purposes ... my challenge is dealing with a low profile tight engine compartment with no additional rear fire wall space without affecting the foot space in the passenger...- ddestruel

engineering flaws you dispise
Drive enough time at night that blue light shining back at you really distracts the eyes.... i used to pull the bulb on dodges because it was so bright my OBS ford i electrical taped the bulb to dim it.... 8-10 hours of night driving the worst thing in the world is cab lights and that high...- ddestruel
