gauges died today
well I finally went over a few things and discovered a bad fuse. reminder to always use your test light/ multimeter. Problem I have now is that this fuse is popping shortly after replacing it. Havent figured out if there is a certain thing that is triggering it yet.- metalminded

In my last truck the volt temp gauge would sit lower then it seemed like it should be sometimes and a quick swat to the dash would remedy the situation. alas i have thumped this thing a few times without affect.- metalminded

I think their point is not that you are not qualified, but that you are not adding any actual data. Like you could just as well be a holiday inn express patron as far as anyone knows. to the OP, If you have a good running engine unless you see something that needs attention like a leak i would...- metalminded

95 f350 powerstroke I didn't notice exactly when it happened but at some point i looked down and the tach was dead. then i noticed that the volt gauge and the light on the shifter indicating OD on/off was also dead. is the OD light tired to the tach? I looked over some fuses before it got dark...- metalminded

It has been a minute since i have posted but this has been my go to forum for years now, this is my third 7.3 I am not sure that this is an upgrade, but i am in need of a new radiator and overflow tank on my 1995 f350. It has the older non degas style system and i guess i am curious if anyone...- metalminded

So, these manifolds aren't leaking.... but i can't imagine what a pita it will be to deal with these rusted bolts with the engine in the truck. As much as i don't like to fix what isn't broken.....- metalminded

awww you must be from a place outside of the northeast rust belt of doom. re use bolts..... :rotflmao trip to Harbor Frick and the always awesome Woodwards hardware and i picked up a "rated" 1 ton stand and 4 130mm M12x1.75 bolts with washers. it doesn't totally fill me with confidence...- metalminded
