7.3 IDI crank no start. Help me get a list of what to take please!
OK so my wife drove the IDI to work today and she said it ran like a top. So she works all day and comes out to a no start. It was around 70 degrees out. She said she cut the key on until WTS light went out and cranked- no start. She said she repeated this several times until the batteries...- Ramzilla

Ok gotcha on the IDI heater. I have never had one out and didn't know that. So they are just the freeze plug style like on a 3126 CAT then. But just for your knowledge I have done a lot of 6.0L work and the heater on them is in the block just about like the IDI it just threads in instead. ;Sweet- Ramzilla

Hey guys my block heater is bad on the 7.3 idi and the cord was missing in action when I purchased the truck. My question is I have a brand new 6.0L heater and cord assembly that came with another truck I had bought, will the 6.0L heater screw in and work on the idi block? Just trying to use...- Ramzilla

Any recomendations for shipping a car/truck?
Reliable carriers is pretty reasonable. They hauled a cummins for a guy at work from AZ to VA for pretty cheap.- Ramzilla

need a pair of A/T steer tires, throw in some suggestions pls
Currently running Grabber AT2s on the rear axe - they seem to wear like iron, and with just a factory limited slip diff truck is capable of conquering wet grassy fields (the bane of every dually) without much trouble. Haven't felt them hydroplane in heavy rains, but with ABS it's hard to tell...- Ramzilla

Yeah UPS will be outrageous. Actual freight companies are usually very reasonable on big stuff. Fed ex has been decent too. It can be shipped to my work where we have a loading dock. That usually lowers the price as well.- Ramzilla

Man I wish you were closer. Have you checked with a freight carrier? I had a road armor bumper shipped from Wyoming to Virginia for around $180 bucks. It had to be on a pallet and I had to pick it up at their facility. If not too much hassle check on shipping price to 24153 Salem,Va.- Ramzilla
