My first filtration rig... wmo processor

What actual filters are you using? I cut, settle, CF then a 5 micron filter. I only had a stock 6.5 filter setup and found fine sediment on the bottom after 10K. I recently switched to a Dmax van setup with a 10 micron pre and 2 micron post filters. One batch of ATF I cleaned recently, yuck.

can I prevent coking with WMO?

A member on my other forum had them machined open, and put the pop pressures up to 2800. Some of the old Mercedes and other diesels have the same open injector, supposed to reduce or eliminate coking. I'll know in a bit, going to run through 2 tanks then pull one for inspection. A friend has...

can I prevent coking with WMO?

Never said that, there is a tiny amount there but not enough to worry about. I've seen a hell of a lot worse. I know where your going but mechanically, there is nothing wrong with my engine. Prior to the WATF running, it was fine, even the piston tops were clean. Km's, not miles.

can I prevent coking with WMO?

Engine has 200K, far from worn out. Had the heads off in March, 180K, still has the cross hatch, injectors and GP's clean-no oil. Doesn't burn a drop of oil. Will do a compression test one day.

can I prevent coking with WMO?

On my other forum, its mentioned that hot fuel is bad and one guy lost 4 mpg? Grrrr. Guess I'll wait and see how my modded injectors work out before installing a fuel line heater.

can I prevent coking with WMO?

Yeah, very interesting, thanks. I guess if running WVO, you still need a heated tank as well as that.

can I prevent coking with WMO?

That's nice but I like the others as they are using coolant, which is free and so no additional power drain for me, which is important as I am pulling a few amps at idle with electric fans.

can I prevent coking with WMO?

I started running alternate fuels about 3 months ago, I've burned about 500 gallons and coked my injectors almost shut. I currently run a 20 gallons 70% WATF and 30% gas with 5 gallons jet fuel mixed in but almost out of jet fuel. The visosity is .800 and diesel IIRC is .890. I've saved roughly...

can I prevent coking with WMO?

Late to the party, is anyone still around, have a few questions as I just started burning alternate fuels.

    Injector questions

Marine injectors are a gimmick, just get Bosch, Delphi etc.
