Bought a truck. Bought a flash tuner. Tuner said truck was not stock from previous owner..
Will the TS5 chip override this existing Superchips (?) flash program? I don't know whats on it and it irks me honestly.
Has a "Superchips Equipped" decal on the dash display.
By the way, I have a Banks...
Sort of makes sense. Truck had been wreck and I've been prying and hammering on the door hinges right on the other side of it. Odd that I drove it 15 miles before it shut down though.
So I checked the power with a light and I couldn't find power at my pump with the key on. I jumped power to the hot side of the pump and she started whirring and truck started.
So next question, where do I start to look why she doesn't have power down there? Already checked Maxi Fuse 22.
Just bought this 7.3l. 2000 model. Driving and it seemed sluggish. Cut off and went into a few places. When I jumped back in and got on the road, it seemed like the more I asked of it, the more it bogged until it would hardly pull itself . I pulled onto a side road and shut it off and drained...
Ive got a 4x4 IDI that needs some work. Clutch went out(I thought).. but still pulled in all gears with a little noise in 4th/5th, then clunk, no pull in High Gears (2wd or 4wd) but pulls in 4Low... ..25mph
I have an 01 Sooooperdoooty with a tired, missing, helicoiled motor in it. Have access to a serpentined 7.3L IDI complete here locally..
Question is:
Regarding bolt pattern/adapters... What will be required to put the 7.3L IDI in the place of the 5.4L ... Stock computer should technically...
Have a 93 Ford F350 Diesel for sale. Truck has high miles, but supposedly previous owner swapped motors. He blocked checked the title at 130k, but gauge says its got 376k. It's a 7.3L NA with ZF5 speed w/ New clutch before I bought it. Two brand new 10 ply tires on the front. Runs good, 17-18...

93 Ford F-350 7.3L NA IDI Performance Upgrades, Electric Fuel Pump Options
Guys, I just bought a 93 F-350. Its a 7.3L IDIT (orifiginally before 7.3L NA change) with the\ZF5.
Looking to upgrade the stock air system and convert to an electric fuel pump.
For the intake, I am looking at...
Looking to buy another IDI. Looking for a 4/5spd truck or may consider an
E4OD truck. Prefer a Regular cab or CrewCab with no turbo. Cheaper the better, closer to Arizona the better. Let me know what you have.
Just bought a 2000 F-250 with the V-10.. Looking at ways to help the engine breath...
1) Are the SDP Xpipe a good upgrade and worth the money?
2) Who has the best programming options and would a Superchip Micro Max programmer worth its weight if bought cheap enough?
3) What kind of air...
I think he was referring to your question about the motor plates... In referring to the "motor plates" are you talking about the transmission flexplate or the motor mounts?
The 7.3L and 5 speed take near nothing to make work in your truck. You can hook the glowplugs on a push button and as long as you have a hot wire going to your starter solenoid, you should be good to get it running. Of course you then have to make sure the three wires on altenator are hooked up...
Talking to a guy that has a SD33. I'm ready to pull my hair out because i dont have a project vehicle. If plans fall through on the 6.2L Chevy, I may pull the 4.0L out of a cherokee (bad head gasket) and try to get the Nissan SD33 hooked up somehow. I know it would not be a race truck, however...
Would 3.08 gears be the best for this little combo or would the 6.2L not even make the Torque to pull itself with gearing that high? What year did they start putting the 700R4 behind these motors?
