    Sort of makes sense. Truck had been wreck and I've been prying and hammering on the door hinges right on the other side of it. Odd that I drove it 15 miles before it shut down though.

    So I checked the power with a light and I couldn't find power at my pump with the key on. I jumped power to the hot side of the pump and she started whirring and truck started. So next question, where do I start to look why she doesn't have power down there? Already checked Maxi Fuse 22.

    The 7.3L and 5 speed take near nothing to make work in your truck. You can hook the glowplugs on a push button and as long as you have a hot wire going to your starter solenoid, you should be good to get it running. Of course you then have to make sure the three wires on altenator are hooked up...

    Would 3.08 gears be the best for this little combo or would the 6.2L not even make the Torque to pull itself with gearing that high? What year did they start putting the 700R4 behind these motors?
