    I would think a wide ratio tranny would make better use of the auxillary for splitting gears. Hope you get going on this though, good looking truck like that NEEDS a diesel!!

    Defecater, anything happen with this? My son's got a '70 F100 4x4 with an IH D301 out of a late '60s Combine. Fun truck, unique sound, expensive injectors and glowplugs, 20mpg and a top speed of 55-60 w/a T19(2400 redline), 90ish hp but really cool as hell.
