Update on '83 for $1.00
Some of you might remember I was getting and 83 F250 from my mother-in-law for a dollar and I was driving it down from PA to FL. Well, here is an update on the whole affair... 1st, she gave my dollar back... because she gifted it to us and was worried about being compensated in any way...- Zbugsii

Help on several issues for my '83 6.9l
Thank you all for the information... but... Yes, I was wondering about the vacuum system(s). I seem to have an electric vacuum pump for the A/C system. Maybe it was retrofitted at some time. I know my 2002 F250 had an electric vacuum pump for the A/C system. I guess I will figure it...- Zbugsii

'83 Fuel Tank size and MPG ??
I will have a new to me '83 6.9 truck... picking it up from Mother-in-law in 6 days... But, a couple of things I really would like to know and she can not help... The truck has two factory fuel tanks... can anyone tell me the capacity of each of the tanks? I am trying to see what my...- Zbugsii

New to me '83 IDI for $1.00
I should have added... the first owner did install and add a second calibrated temp gage and an oil pressure gage... So, both temp gages work... but only after I ran the truck and stopped and idled the truck for a while, it then registered some temp... My guess is.... the thermostat is...- Zbugsii
