Bought a new truck 93 N/a Dually
I bought a tru cool stacked plate with external bypass for a 40,000-45,000 GVWR......... if you have an external bypass then get the biggest cooler that will fit (if using tube and fin type)...... or a reasonably sized stacked plate cooler.- Thatguy

WOW! Check out this Barn Find
don't get me wrong...... that is a beautiful truck .... but ...... there is no way somebody drove that 39,xxx miles with out an oil leak and a small ding or 2 and a little wear on the inside. It didn't even look that good off the show room floor. It is still gorgeous and I want it.- Thatguy

yep..... scat cranks are forged and the best one available for the 6.2/6.5. I would build the engine from the ground up. All the parts are available to build a P400 optimizer....... and the Navistar cast blocks are the only good ones. For my Suburban I went through 3 660 blocks and 1 599 block...- Thatguy

how much you looking to spend. I have seen 6.2s with under 100,000 miles out of school busses that are cracked along the pan rail as well as cracked main webs from register to cam journal. If I were to do it I would use a new cast block with a scat crank...... and upgrade to a 4l80e or get an...- Thatguy

Tensioner pulley
Going to go change the pulley Tomorrow just the pulley. The truck is 110 miles away so I need to take tools with me. I don't have a road box. what tools do I need to take with me to change the pulley and the water neck? Another question......... Anybody around me thats not working want to...- Thatguy

AC Evaporator? What's the difference between pre-94 & 94-up?
yeah ...... my 16 y/o crew cab with r134a is like a refrigerator..... My 99 Lincoln also stays like a meat locker...... infact they both stay too cold for me to be in when they are on max cold.- Thatguy
