    You have to cut the parting line weld between the 2 halves along the Outer diameter of the Converter to take it apart. Normally done in a Lathe.

    How to trim the oil piston ring coil?

    Using a larger bore size ring and filing the end gap to fit will give you more cylinder wall drag than what is desired. A slightly larger end gap is less of a problem than to much ring tension. As the engine gets to operating temp the ring gap gets smaller.

    Run WMO 7.3 PSD ?

    I have been running a 5 to 20 % mix of motor oil, Transmission fluid and the likes for over 12 years. Like leswhitt said filter before hand. I also have a Baldwin BF7587 Fuel filter inline on the Inlet fuel line from the tank to filter everything Before it gets to the fuel system.
