    just do the opposite of turning it up. 1 or 2 flats oughta bring down your temps and get rid of the smoke screen. mine will crop dust anyone behind me when i tow something, but normal operating its a haze at most, unless i lug it with my foot to the floor.

    in the shortest answer possible, yes. the egts will climb faster with restriction (muffler, small pipes...) in the exhaust.

    i just bought a chunk of 4" pipe, a 4" band clamp, the prebent dynomax 4" tailpipe and built a 2 1/2 to 4" adaptor. it doesnt sit nearly as low as the kits do, although i do need to get it to aim more straight out rather than at a slight upward angle

    but just remember as the compression ratio went down, the stock boost numbers went up. our N/As at 21:1 make ok power at 0psi of boost. have you watched what happens when you pop the pressure pipe off a 6.0? no power, no nothing. just something to ponder i guess

    I run all of my switches in a whelen heavy duty switch box. they are horribly pricey new, but used they make for the best box out there. Fused, water proof, lighted, and have a common ground lug. I like mine. (dont mind the trailer brake controller wiring in the picture, thats on my list...

    lol, its the "orientation clip" in the picture. sits under the master cylinder and is what the switch hooks onto.

    Cruise switch problems

    should only be an open/close switch. thats what it looks like in the wiring diagrams. you could try unplugging it, BUT then you'll need a push button somewhere to activate the safety feature so you can start it. to answer your question, yes, the brake switch also shuts off cruise

    you could also put in a boost controller. even the manual ones would work fine. then you still get the benefits of a wategate, but with a little more control pwrsmoke: i believe you're backwards. doesnt a wastegated turbo spool faster yet retain more heat?
