    go get a plastic one qt spray bottle.....put some chainsaw gas mix in it..while someone is turning the key, spray this down the intake,,till it will stay running by itself...then get the gas out of the nozzle and tube,,as it will screw up the gasket behind the plunger...pump water thru the...

    What oil do you run?

    ill only say this. I run the motorcraft 15w40 in my 96. reason?? we had a few,,in the ford garage where I worked for a bit,,that came in, running damn poor...come to find out,,they weren't running the mtrcrft..now before you howl,,this is designed for the smokes...and has more antifoaming...

    on the outside,,make something, to attach to the outer trim pieces,,that you can remove when done painting...otherwise,,if theres any breeze the wrong way,,youll have paint on the exterior wall.......preferably about a foot long. even a piece of used furnace ductwork....

    how goods your hearing??? with truck running, it may be impossible,,to hear a vacuum leak..but, changing the engine,,you may have cracked a vacuum line somewhere. large or small...or cracked the vac manifold on the firewall.......

    the reason it wouldn't start hot,,ip's nearly dead... if you would have went,,and got about a qt of tepid water. [just off of cold] it would have tightened the tolerances,,enough to start...its a trick,,talked of long ago,,when some of us were much younger..........:D
