    Dually Conversion

Thanks guys! Hopefully I can take a look at this rear end soon. It is is in Souix City, which is about three hours north of here. The guy seems competent, but then again you never can be sure. He wasn't quite sure what I was talking about with the speed sensor, which made me wonder if the 90...

    Dually Conversion

Hey All (in best Cleveland voice), Looking at converting my srw 250 into a drw. Found a dually rear end from a 90 f350 for a pretty decent price, but I was wondering if in the 87-91 rear ends, is the vehicle speed sensor on the pumpkin like the 92-97s or is it in the tranny? I have a 93...

    $5000 IDI

It sure was nice of them to show the picture of the beat to snot bed along with the engine that doesn't look like it has had a drop of oil added to it in ten years. I think the key here is if you read in the description that they can finance in house. In the auto trade we call those places "buy...

    1993 idi in Omaha, Ne

I would really prefer not to part this truck out. I would like to see it go as a package deal to someone who appreciates it.

    1993 idi in Omaha, Ne

Hey guys, Well, I have to part with my idi. I wanted to let you guys have first crack at it before I put the ad up on craigslist and get beat up by someone who doesn't appreciate our trucks. 1993 F250 extended cab 230xxx miles New radiator, coolant filter set-up in July. New...

    Plans for the weekend??

Well, got the hockey pucks under the cab late last night. Grille guard on this afternoon. Trying to get a new rear set installed. Pulled from a 2000 F150, remarkably close to fitting in our trucks, have to fab one bracket and modify two, but not too bad. 93f250idi: Still working on getting...

    Plans for the weekend??

Wow, that stinks! They were just starting the expansion when we moved, I wondered what it would do to the place. All of those old roads where the one of the best parts of LBL! You could get on a couple of roads and ride and ride and ride all day long! I am heading back out to the garage here...

    Plans for the weekend??

Yeah we lived in Murray up until June of last year, shop I was working for closed our location down. Had some friends who lived in Cadiz, spent a hell of a lot of time playing in LBL. In fact my sister and brother-in-law live in Clarksville. If you seriously want those stacks, my sister is up...

    Plans for the weekend??

I would happily do that for you if I could get them into a flat rate box! (Or if it had been a year ago and we still lived in Murray!)

    Plans for the weekend??

Well, got the stacks off. Hockey puck lift installed on the driver's side of the cab. Impact battery died trying to get the right core support mount loose. Plus I look up and see that the core support has a massive crack in it right above the mount. Guess I will be fabing up some reinforcements...

    Plans for the weekend??

Hey everyone! Just wanted to say hi and see what everyone was planning on for the weekend. Here in corn country, a hockey puck body lift is being installed, a pair of stacks are coming off, and grille guard is going on. Hope everyone has a safe, enjoyable, and productive weekend...

    Tow Hooks

So judging from the fact that nobody has gotten a hold of me, that you guys have either changed your minds about the hooks or you think $25 a pair is too much. Either way, let me know if anyone wants these things. Personally I think $25 a pair with $10 shipping in a flat rate box is pretty...

    Tow Hooks

No I don't. I have put twenty tons of pulling pressure on a set that I modified for pulling a damaged frame on the frame machine and the stood up to that. These are really beefy hooks.

    Tow Hooks

Alright, stopped by the post office on the way home tonight. Grabbed some medium and large flat rate boxes. I can actually get four sets of hooks into one flat rate box pretty easily. I didn't grab any small boxes, but am pretty sure that a single set would fit into it also. Here are some more...

    Tow Hooks

Hey guys! Been doing a little research as far as shipping these things and I think 88beast was right on when he suggested a flat rate box. According to USPS the weight limit is 20lbs for a domestic shipment. I will have to weigh a set tonight to figure the actual weight, but I think I can ship...

    Tow Hooks

Sorry guys! Didn't mean to post and then disappear. Took the family out camping and left all the electronics at home! No computer! No cell! Nothing! It was awesome, best four days we have had in a long time! Anyway. To clarify on a few things: I have 30 pairs (two each) of tow hooks off of...

    Tow Hooks

Hey Guys! Okay here is the deal. After ten years working for Ford, we moved from down south back up to Nebraska after taking a job with GMC dealer here. I know, I know, how could I ???? Anyway, I have a bunch of take off tow hooks from new vehicles. I am tired of having them in my garage and...

    Taillights Out

From the symptoms you are describing it sounds to me like your multifunction switch (The turn signal, high/low beam and wiper switch) is going out. These are fairly easy to replace and ford has been using these switches from the late 80's to now in the super duty's!

    Aftermarket All Aluminum Radiator?

Give everyone an update: Found a used radiator on Craigslist over in Lincoln. Picked it up from an old farmer for $95 (he was parting out an 89). Took it to the radiator shop, they hot tanked it and pressure checked it, all was good. Mounted the dual electric fans on it last night and sat it...

    Jack knife cab repair

As far as replacing either the cab corner glass or the rear window with something else, I would not recommend it. From a safety stand point, glass is actually a structural part in automobile construction, as you said, in a rollover it would be a weak point. Secondly, replacing the glass in our...

    Jack knife cab repair

I totally agree with you Towcat. Those cab corners are a royal pain in the you know where to put in, plus they lip under the roof and unless you hack out the roof seam, you wind up destroying it also! I am not sure, but can salvage yards sell whole cab assemblies anymore? I know there was some...
